OUR STORY

It all began with a 3AM scene flight. A scenario which is familiar to many air medical crews.  A critical patient on the ground, a standard operating procedure requiring flight crews to establish ground contact for a landing zone (LZ) brief prior to landing at night, and an inability to get said brief with the given set up of the tactical radios.

"We could see them and they could see us, but we couldn't land because we were unable to establish air to ground communications" says Seth Pritchett, former flight paramedic and CEO of AMRCSS.  "When we were finally able to land after the LZ brief was routed through two different radio systems, one landline, and two communications centers, First Responders on the ground were furious that it took the helicopter so long to land, ultimately at the patient's expense."

From the events of that early morning flight, the inception of AMRCSS was born.

IMPROVED COMMUNICATIONS  =  DECREASED RISK

AMRCSS (pronounced "A-MARKS"), is a family run business, founded on the concept that more can be done to improve safety in most aircraft tactical radio communications data configurations.

At AMRCSS, we have confronted many of the complex, multi-factorial communications challenges that the air medical industry faces, empowering crews with the tools they need to effectively and efficiently communicate, mission after mission.

From past flight crew to present flight crew, we want to do our part to help flight crews and patients go home to their loved ones at the end of every flight.
